After a long time, was away from the thumping construction work at hostel,classroom disturbances(:-)),mysore traffic(which is so little)..Was away to Coorg…  Two days amidst the wonderfull forest,lush green plantations and great food and great people-What more can you ask for.The place was like noone had visited it ever and nature stands thr in full glory.It jus becomes too tempting to stop all your work and go there and jus crash,but may be it would not be that good if its always before us.Because we always take for granted something we have.So its better to have it in small doses and enjoy it every-time it comes before us.Back to the hostel..back to gossips…back to politics…back to the normal life(it had become so)…

It often happens to me that only some movies and books make me think a lot…Jus finished watching the movie Citizen Kane.Often labelled as the greatest movie ever made(i will disagree).Its about a media tycoon(Charles Kane) who started out wanting to be happy and honest,but was not able to be so over time as money and power gripped him.Everyone leaves him,his loved ones,his business,his aspirations gets finished.he dies a lonely death in his big estate.His last words are RoseBud and the whole movie is about unveiling the world behind the word.The guy given this work is not able to find any clue abt the word and abandons the case.In the ending of the film, it is revealed to the audience that Rosebud was the name of the sled from Kane’s childhood, from the time before he was taken from his parents and gained his wealth – an allusion to the only time in his life when he was really happy. . .He amassed huge wealth,Got everything in his life.lost everything but one thing he diidnt get was happiness.

It left me thinking where are we all headed.Is there some resemblance between the story and our lives.Think…Think…Think.

kahlil Gibrans love….

Love one another, but make not a bond of love

Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.

Fill each other’s cup, but drink not from one cup.

Give one another of your bread, but eat not from the same loaf.

Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone,

Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music.

Give your hearts, but not into each other’s keeping;

For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts.

And stand together yet not too near together;

For the pillars of the temple stand apart,

And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow.

– Kahlil Gibran (The Prophet)

Severe sleeping syndrome:-(

This topic cos had a bad incident yet again due to my oversleeping today.Did’nt get up in time for exam and the college had to contact hostel and warden in turn woke me up and i went for exam 30 min late:-)This is not the first time i have been in a soup cos of my habit of sleeping too much and that too like a dead log .It has always been a so called problem for me.The only thing i hate about going home is they dont let me sleep:-)But on the other side i dont know why many people find this habit so bad.I have always cherished my sleep and i cant avoid it at any cost.Of course am not sleeping when i have some very life threatening job to do.And more than my long hours of sleeping what disgusts most of them is i sleep without any awareness of wats happening around me.I mean we are supposed to sleep and mind is closed when we sleep i think.Why do we need to be aware of our surroundings when we are sleeping.Then its not sleeping,its acting as if sleeping.People crave for a good peace full sleep and when one like me gets it so naturally its about a unhealthy lifestyle.Strange:-(May be since others are not able to sleep as i do they envy me:-)

|For me sleep is the most peacefull thing to do,away from all your tensions,all your worries about your future,all your problems in your life(the picture should tell you more).Its the only time you remain yourself i think:-) God bless all who sleep like me:-)and until then the world will keep on mocking those who sleep:-(

And heard a nice song from Ishqiya called “Dil toh Bachha hai JI”-nice lyrics telling you how the heart always remains a child in its own way:-)Ok am back to sleep.bye:-)

Raghupati Raghava Raja Ram

रघुपति राघव राजाराम, पतित पावन सीताराम

सीताराम सीताराम, भज प्यारे तू सीताराम

ईश्वर अल्लाह तेरो नाम, सब को सन्मति दे भगवान

Lord Rama, Chief of the house of Raghu,
Uplifters of those who have fallen, (O divine couple) Sita and Rama,
Beloved, praise Sita and Rama,
God or Allah is your name, (meaning that the supreme can be called by many names)
Lord, bless everyone with this wisdom.

—–Not that i have become a devotee of Ram but the song do gives us something to think over.Just came across a nice carnatic version of this song in a recent classical music concert at our college.

Lets Start…

Lohri celebrations were done in college and we were hungry..So wat do we do??The answer would be the bus stand Idly as we always do but this time we were adventurous enough to have our jackets on ,fuel up and head straight off to maddur just to have a coffee and a great ride:-)
It was a wonderful night with six of us leaving at 3:30 in the morning just to search for some good time.Maddur is a small town between Mysore and bangalore and its famous for it Cafe Coffee Day(CCD) that is open 24*7 and lots of people from bangalore n mysore hanging out there whole night to have some good time.Itw as a great ride in the dark and a great road too.With our IPods on  all we could think of is to find the next hump on the road:-)We did miss some of them but it was a good neat drive.We reached around 5 and filled ourselves up and decided to wait till we see the first light of the day…the CCD is a nice place and you can find people at any time of the day having a coffee there..We dozed a little ,got fresh again and were back on out bikes riding through the raising sun and the morning which was jus wonderful:-)
And just as we reach the college at 8 in the morning people are waiting for the sun to go high as it is Pongal and the start of the harvesting season…And pray and thank the Sun god for all the prosperity and light it brings on to all Life on earth…
All this sudden plans and really excited starts do bring in some fun amongst all the routine life that we live…CIAO:-)

For you,a thousand times over….
